They mention that it's related to artichoke, but no comments about the agave (tequila/mezcal) connection? I'm surprised! Still, I learned a lot, so thank you, Brad & co.

Wait, if Vinny left in January 2019, why did Brad say, "If you can't find 'em, grind ' em, Vinny?" (timestamp - 6:08)

If Vinny was behind the camera, where's the amazing editing? Did Bon Appetit tell him not to?

I smell some drama over at Bon Appetit...

Ken's personality matched w brad is just perfect. I love this guy.
Imagine HIM and brad noodling... he'd be going at it with 100% stone cold composure during possibly the most absurd of situations.
PS what happened to Hunzi? I vaguely remember hearing he left but now I'm confused if the devastation of vinny just made me make that up. Is he still on regular it's alive?

Thank you so much for visiting the hill county and recommending desert door. I live 30 minutes north of Austin, but have never heard of this place. Because of you I went to Desert Door today and had an amazing time; not only from the knowledge gained in this video, but also the fantastic taste of Desert Door and the incredible atmosphere/service.

As someone from Sweden, considered by many to have extremely introverted citizens, I personally think that the Sotol worker wasn't very cold or rude, just a bit to the point and unused to the camera. The only thing I would say he could've improved significantly on is not letting Brad ask how things work.

It's cool learning about production with brad :> and their lax behind the scenes stuff.
[edit point]And also in comment about the sotol guy. i don't think he's stuckup or pretentious :\ i think he's just a professional maybe introverted guy. You can tell he gets a little loose every now and then by the small banter or the laughing with brad :) i think nobody can resist the power of brad, but i don't think everyone could/should match it like the clay guy :) 2 different episodes. both great
