The internet states on several websites that the salmonella issue is with Jenny O RAW GROUND MEAT, not the whole bird. The news media needs to get their information right!!!!!!

If you practice safe food handling as well as cooking your meat to the safe temperature, none of this matters 😒 stop being lazy.

Larry Jones,I am not afraid of getting salmonella & I wholehearted agree with Captain Caterpillar. Hospital treats it with activated charcoal and so you can do you same yourself if you keep it in your first aid home kit. I know 1st hand that it least for my household.

    • Carolyn Jones
      Carolyn Jones Mês atrás +1

Susan Bodell It's already getting that way, food is spoiling within hours of being put out in nearly all of the Supermarkets in our area of Southwest Colorado. It is very difficult to know just what is safe to eat. My suggestion would be to find a way to grow your own vegetables, and try to eat more soy bean related products. They do have cans of dry food that you just mix with water that you can buy, granted many people do not like the idea of eating something that says beef, pork, or chicken, that is made with soy beans, but it's better than getting sick or maybe starving.

Susan Bodell, dont bother to eat pork, beef or poultry either b\c they could have salmonella and you won't even know it b\c the news media didn't know it either. :-() So why don't you just eat out in a restaurant on Thanksgiving Day where more than half the employees dont wash their hands after bathroom visits & 90% of cashiers goes straighter from handling customers money to fulfilling the orders without washing their hands!!!!!
