@MCBD*LLCI loved ultimate Gohan, the fact that nothing was added seemed so badass to me, you don’t need to look cool to be cool. The way the confidence and arrogant personality juxtaposes the lack of aesthetics is phenomenal. And it doesn’t feel like an asspull, because there is actually a backstory as to how the elder Kai got his potential unleashing powers, which ties in relatively eloquently with potara fusion, linking everything up nicely.

@John wick Fundamenraly speaking, a transformation superior in design is indeed more principled, however everything depends on how the form ties in narratively; and how it affects the dynamics of the current arc. The same can be said for fighting, the actual buildup to the fight and the aftermath of a fight is more interesting than the actual fight itself in my opinion.
